Starting off 2009

Life has been exciting around here, with new babies, Christmas, and lots in between. This is one of my favorite pictures of the boys and baby Leah. (Landon, Leah and Braden) She was only a couple of weeks old here and the boys just adore her. Whenver she cries they drop everything and want to make sure she has her binki and is O.K.

Here is a proud Grandpa with Leah about 2 weeks old.

We had a great Christmas, this year the boys got new capes made by their mom and didn't take them off all day. They had their second birthday and had three celebrations. They are getting so big so fast. We love every minute we spend with them.

We spent some time at the cabin and spent quite awhile going on walks, one with Grandma and Grandpa and another with the moms, Carrie and Beka. Its so beautiful, we love spending time there, everytime we go we see deer, sometimes they just walk right by the cabin.

Im going to try to better on keeping up the blog, we love keeping in touch with all our friends, family and loved ones!!!!!!!

AMAZING !!!

This man is amazing. In his 50's and still going strong. This is him coming in at the finish line in the Logan marathon. He makes it look so easy. He loves it and has qualified again for the Boston marathon in 2009.

Mike, Carrie and I took a quick trip to New York to see my brother Kent. We had a great time, the weather was perfect and there is not better host/tour guide than Kent. We risked our lives to buy a few purses, wallets, and DVD's, enjoyed walking int the parks, going to the Farmers Market, Mike and Kent went to the show Spam-a-lot, and for the first time we went out to the beach and saw Coney Island before they tear it down. We ate at Grandpas pizza (our favorite) the Carnage Deli, and Serendipity where they served frozen hot chocolate. As usual it
went by way to fast, we had a great great time...thanks Kent, we love you!!!!

This last month we went to California and stayed at an awesome beach house. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. We were able to do some scuba diving, deep sea fishing, parasailing, San Diego Zoo, Six Flags, and great fireworks on the beach for the 4th of July. We could never get to much of the beach!!!!!

This is for Linda, Jenny and Paul

Yes we are still alive and still doing blogs. Im not just that fast at changing them. We went to the McCormick train park today and met Megan and Jake. We had a blast riding the train...
Riding the carousel...
and just playing in the park.
The boys enjoyed getting to know their cousin Jake and look forward to seeing him again. Summer has definately started, its hot, hot, hot, but we are off to the beach soon to cool down and have a great time.
Paul ran another great marathon in Ogden. He did very well and it was really a beautiful run. You can kind of see the 26.2 in the background with balloons, but thats how far he ran. He is great!!!!!!!

HE DID IT AGAIN

Yes he made it through another 26.2 miles. Boston was beautiful and it was a perfect day for a run. This is Paul with his East Valley running group from Arizona, after the race. They are all smiling because thats what crazy people do, they are crazy enough to already be talking about training for the next marathon in a couple of months. Carrie and I went to cheer him on, and stopped in New York to see Kent for a couple of days before going to Boston. It was great to see him and enjoy New York with him. We went to the Bronx Zoo, saw "Wicked" and got a little shopping in. In both New York and Boston the trees were blossoming and it was beautiful. We all had a great time, and Congratulations to our runner for another amazing run!!!!!
