Everyone needs a little playtime. Before he started his marathon runs he spent his leisure time in the slides at McDonalds. (Is he having fun or what?) Pauls first of three marathons was in Ogden, he did great but we didnt go so have no pictures. We next went to the Logan marathon and had lunch in Salt Lake with his nephew Jeff his wife Heather and thier daughter Sarah, Emily and her husband Dave. It was great to see them, Leah and Sarah were instantly best friends.

Then at the race, Carrie and Leah were anxiously awaiting at the finish line for Paul.
He made it, looks great and he looks ready to do it all over again.

We had a great time with family and enjoyed vacationing with Aunt Linda (She is always the life of the party. I would post a few of her pictures but she would never talk to me again!!!
Then it was off to St. George two weeks later. Again he did a great job and had Danny, Beka, Landon and Braden, at the finish line this time.

We had a great time and spent time with Bekas friend Tracy and her twin daughters. The boys did great on the drive up and back. Paul needs a little R&R now so its probably back to McDonalds!!!

Things we have done this summer!!!

Paul and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. Here we are just finishing off a deliciious desert at the Salt Cellar.

Baby Leah is growing up so fast, she has enough smiles to fill the whole world. She is almost 9 months and starting to scoot around, she babbles a mile a minute and is quite a little flirt. She has won all of our hearts and we cant love her enough.
The boys are also growing to fast, They are talking so well and melt hearts wherever they are. Carrie gave them a summer buzz and we went up to Prescott to see the rodeo and spend time with Sue and her family. The girls were the rodeo queens again and did a great job in the arena. The boys got to see Great Grandma and Grandpa there and they loved eating her homemade cookies.
Our baby boy Steven moved out, leaving us to be empty nesters. Is he cute or what???We miss him.

Mike went through the Temple which was one of the best experiences we have had in our lives.

Paul and I went on a Pioneer trek with our Stake as a Ma and Pa. We had a great little family with us and it was a really fun experience.

We celebrated a birthday at Cafe Rio...Beka and I went to New York to see Kent and the sights. It was Bekas first time so we wanted to see everything and thanks to Kent we didn't miss to much.
This is Kent and Beka in front of Kents place on Broadway, he is the 4th window up, he has great views from 3 sides. We all went to see Lion King which was great.
Can anything be more exciting than Times Square??? We had a great time!!!

The best thing about summer so far is that we get to spend time with thoes that we love, thats what makes our world turn!!!!!

MARATHON MAN IN BOSTON 2009

He made it through another one. Boston was a little windy and rainy this time but whats a little breeze when you are running faster than the wind????? Thats him just past the finish line. (Kent looking on)Carrie, Leah, Uncle Kent and I went out to cheer him on. This was Leah's first flight, she did great!!!Her friend Jasmine made her a few hats for the cold and this was my favorite, wouldn't she be cute with a full head of hair????
We went to the local famous bars!!!! (Just to take pictures)

and browsed the streets at night (not a lot of night life in China Town at 11:00)

And the boys were waiting for us at home, doing good stuff like going to church, do they look like angels or what???It was a fun trip, Im so proud of Paul, I think he will still be running at 120 years old.

Starting off 2009

Life has been exciting around here, with new babies, Christmas, and lots in between. This is one of my favorite pictures of the boys and baby Leah. (Landon, Leah and Braden) She was only a couple of weeks old here and the boys just adore her. Whenver she cries they drop everything and want to make sure she has her binki and is O.K.

Here is a proud Grandpa with Leah about 2 weeks old.

We had a great Christmas, this year the boys got new capes made by their mom and didn't take them off all day. They had their second birthday and had three celebrations. They are getting so big so fast. We love every minute we spend with them.

We spent some time at the cabin and spent quite awhile going on walks, one with Grandma and Grandpa and another with the moms, Carrie and Beka. Its so beautiful, we love spending time there, everytime we go we see deer, sometimes they just walk right by the cabin.

Im going to try to better on keeping up the blog, we love keeping in touch with all our friends, family and loved ones!!!!!!!
